Mekhla Dasgupta, a singer, artist and 2016 Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finalist, performs as part of a celebration for friends of UNC’s Modern Indian Studies (MIS) initiative. This private event will celebrate the work of MIS, the community that has helped establish it and its new director, Meenu Tewari.
